Our events take place in two carefully selected venues, each with its own unique atmosphere, yet both offering the same essential experience: everything under one roof — accommodation, dining, socializing, and, of course, dancing.
Our main event, Tango Embrace Slovenia, is held in the historic Grand Hotel Rogaška Slatina, a place where elegance, tradition, and timeless charm create the perfect setting for unforgettable tango moments. Here, we dance in the magnificent Crystal Hall, a space where history and music have met for nearly two centuries.
Its younger winter sibling, Abrazo de Invierno Slovenia, takes place in the modern and comfortable Hotel Thermana Park Laško. This venue offers a contemporary experience, where we gather, relax, and dance in a spacious and light-filled congress hall — all within the hotel itself.
Both locations are designed to allow you to fully immerse yourself in the event, with no need to commute — just flow between your room, the dance floor, and shared moments with other tangueros.

GRAND HOTEL ROGAŠKA SLATINA****
Located in the heart of the spa town of Rogaška Slatina, overlooking a magnificent park, the Grand Hotel Rogaška is a true symbol of timeless architectural elegance.
With 194 historic rooms, the hotel carries the spirit of a bygone era — the time of Elisabeth of Austria, Franz Joseph I, and the unforgettable concerts of Franz Liszt. While times have changed, the hotel continues to preserve its charm, offering a refined and authentic atmosphere paired with highly personalized 24-hour service.

CRYSTAL HALL - THE MAGIC PLACE FOR TANGO
The Crystal Hall is truly the heart of the event — a place where history meets Argentine tango.
Dancing here is a privilege. The hall offers a perfect wooden floor and a breathtaking atmosphere that is both grand and intimate. Its marble elements create a unique acoustic character, adding to the distinctive feeling of the space.
Originally built in the first half of the 19th century as Ferdinand’s Hall, it quickly became a cultural center hosting distinguished guests, including Emperor Ferdinand and the world-renowned pianist Franz Liszt in 1846. After a fire destroyed the original building in 1910, the hall was reborn as part of the new Grand Hotel, continuing its legacy.

HOTEL THERMANA PARK LAŠKO**** SUPERIOR
Located in the peaceful surroundings of Laško, right by the banks of the Savinja River, the Hotel Thermana Park Laško is a modern, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed hotel that offers a completely different — yet equally immersive — tango experience.
Surrounded by hills and lush greenery, the hotel provides a perfect balance between nature and contemporary comfort. Despite its tranquil setting, it remains easily accessible and is just a 15-minute scenic walk from the town center along beautifully arranged riverside paths.
The hotel offers 181 modern rooms, all designed with light, space, and harmony in mind. Large windows open to views of the surrounding greenery or the river, filling the rooms with natural light and creating a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The interior combines modern elegance with comfort, offering a peaceful retreat where guests can truly unwind.

THE GREAT HALL – CONGRESS CENTER
The Great Hall at the Hotel Thermana Park Laško is the heart of our winter event — a space where modern architecture meets the flow of Argentine tango.
Spacious, bright, and beautifully designed, the hall offers 538 m² of open dancing area, allowing for freedom of movement and a comfortable embrace during milongas. Its clean lines and contemporary design create a sense of openness, while maintaining an intimate connection between dancers.
One of the hall’s defining features is its excellent acoustic quality, providing a clear and warm sound that supports the music and enhances the dancing experience throughout the space.
Large windows open towards the surrounding nature, offering views of the Savinja River and the green hills beyond. Natural light fills the hall during the day, while in the evening it transforms into a soft, elegant tango atmosphere.
What makes this experience truly special is that the congress center is located within the hotel itself. There is no need for transfers or planning — everything flows effortlessly. You simply put on your dancing shoes, step out of your room, and within moments you are already on the dance floor.
And that is where the tango fairytale begins.
